Pip's Pack

Meet Pipsqueak's best friends

Meet The Pipsqueak pack

pipsqueak

The tiny 1.8 pound yorkie who started it all. Pipsqueak was an incredibly resilient and amazing rescue dog. When we got her, she was estimated to live 2 years. We were lucky to have her for 8 amazing years. In that time, the little girl with a liver shunt, hydrocephalus, spina bifida, and more showed millions what it means to be small but mighty. She was one tough cookie who shared her story and strength with many. Our lives were forever changed by this girl, and because of her, we have opened our home to 9 other tiny dogs needing homes. We will forever love our Pipsqueak.

DINKY BEAN

Dinky Bean is a sassy senior. She was adopted at age 12 after she was dumped at a high-kill shelter to be euthanized. Knowing she had a lot of life left, the rescue was able to pull her. The rest is history. She has been with us for 4 years and is as spunky and silly as they come. She loves to whine when she doesn’t get what she wants immediately. She still prances like a puppy and her snaggletooth is iconic.

Lily

Oh Silly Lily! This happy girl makes us laugh daily. She is a Maltese who was found as a stray at a Wal-Mart Distribution Center. Luckily for her, she was paired up with a wonderful rescue before landing with us. After losing Daisy, we knew we needed another Maltese in our lives, and Lily needed a home to work on her anxieties. It was a perfect match. She is a ball of energy and loves treats. Her antics keep us on our toes and ensure there is never a dull moment.

Ava

Sweet Ava crossed the rainbow bridge on Boxing Day in 2022. We had her for 15 amazing years. Mom and Dad got her as a 16-week-old puppy in Cadott, Wisconsin. She has a LOT of personality, and she was as needy as can be and acted like a puppy until her last day.

Her favorite things were to snuggle Mom or Dad, get petted, ride in the car, go for walks, and play with stuffed animals that we call "babies". She had our parents (and everyone that meets her) wrapped around her paw.

HERMIE

Handsome Hermie came to us when he was only 6-months-old. He was found in a field as a stray with talon marks on his back from a bird of prey that tried to pick him up. He was only 2 pounds at the time. His name is a nod to his past with his full name being Herman Hawk. Since joining the pack, he has come out of his shell. He loves to tell stories, go for car rides, and give fist bumps. The main question we get about Hermie is what is his breed. We had his DNA tested, and he is a chihuahua, shih tzu, maltese, and yorkie mix.

TRINKET

Tiny Trinket is 2.8 pounds of pure fierceness. This little girl is equal parts sugar and spice. She loves to snuggle but is the first to tell her fur-siblings to back off if they try to steal her food. She came to us from a rescue after being surrendered. She is a hot mess of medical issues with a liver shunt, neurological issues, and is completely blind. But none of that slows her down. She is pure joy, and we are so lucky to share our lives with this little bundle of fluff.

Snuggie boop

Boop is a completely blind toy poodle who is old as dirt. She was found as a stray which is shocking because the poor girl doesn’t get around too well with her lack of sight. She is an old gal, and we aren’t exactly sure of her age, but she is old. Besides being blind, she has an issue with her nasal cavity that is taking some time to figure out. Regardless of her physical issues, she is a pure sweetheart. She loves to snuggle more than anything else in the world. When she greets you, she hops like a tiny bunny and does little spins. That makes everyone feel special. Good girl, Boop.

Toby

My big brother, Toby, crossed the Rainbow Bridge in April 2018. He was a 14-year-old Miniature Dachshund rescue from Fort Wayne, Indiana. Mom and Dad had him since September, 2006, and he was their first furbaby.

Out of all of my siblings, Toby played with me the most. We snuggled a lot, and he also liked to eat and sleep under the covers. Toby was my very best friend.

daisy

Daisy joined the family July of 2017. This little white fluff was brought into our pack at around 9-years-old. She was a tiny Maltese that only weighed 3.5 pounds. She was ridiculously sweet, and she was a daddy’s girl. She had the cutest little bark and loved to play. She also smiled when she was excited. She had a torn ACL; so she had a little kick in her step.

Daisy LOVED belly rubs, she loved treats, and she made everyone’s day better just be being there.

Zoey

Zoey crossed the Rainbow Bridge in June of 2018. She was a 13-year-old Shih Tzu/Yorkie mix (aka Shorkie-Zu), and Mom and Dad called her "our little old lady". She only weighed 2.5 pounds so she wasn't much bigger than me, which madeit easy for us to play together. Although she wasn't with us very long old, she was a big part of our family. Like me, she had some physical ailments including a heart murmur, cataracts, and hearing loss. Her skeletal structure was s similar to mine, but she got around quite a bit easier than me.

She loved to cuddle up to any of our siblings (or Mom and Dad) and sleep. She also loved treats!
